GIGI Studios' designs are the result of constant improvement, a process of exploration through materials, shapes and colours seeking designs that enhance the uniqueness of the individual.

The brand was founded in Barcelona by a family that has always been surrounded by glasses. That family spirit has led to partnerships with independent opticians and distributors in more than 45 countries.

Patricia Ramo, CEO and Creative Director, has managed to combine her contemporary vision with the savoir-faire of her father, Lluis Ramo, President and Expert in Design, reshaping and transforming the company founded by her grandfather in 1962.

Craft and technology
More than 100 steps are needed to produce each of our frames. Original designs produced by GIGI Studios in Barcelona are the reference for the artisans who sculpt these products. Their completion, based on the accumulated experience of three generations, combines technological innovations with a human touch.
The selection of materials is one of the most important moments in our creative process. We work with the finest purveyors in Italy, Germany and Japan, experts who guarantee sophistication, durability and comfort.
The hinges and core temples are developed by GIGI Studios design team and produced by Comotec, the leading Italian company in the field. Thanks to high quality components, the durability and resistance is guaranteed.

Quality of Italy, Germany and Japan
Our Italian acetate is made from wood pulp and natural cotton: renewable, plant-based resources that respect the environment. The presence of cotton brings comfort, malleability and durability while also offering infinite possibilities of color, structure and form.
Our stainless steel comes from the prestigious German steel industry. Alloys of different materials make it flexible and resistant, perfect for unique finishes and detailing. A hypoallergenic material, it triggers minimal reactions with skin.
Titanium and Beta-Titanium are flexible, strong and extremely light hypoallergenic materials from Japan. Pure titanium frames adapt to a variety of faces, offering a feeling of maximal lightness, almost as if they weren’t there.
