Alcon is the eye care division of Novartis - a Swiss Pharmaceutical company who have just signed a deal with Google to license their new 'Smart Contact Lens' technology.

Alcon and Novartis are also looking into ways to treat presbyopia (long-sightedness) with the lenses.
