WINNER! Marketing Practice of the Year!
This week saw the 2014 Rodenstock Awards Luncheon take place, an event which has continued for over 20 years. This year it was held at the plush Rosewood Hotel in London and saw many opticians from across the country gather to attend a day of entertainment as the awards were handed out, plus an after-dinner speech from guest speaker, Eve Pollard.
We were honoured to pick up the National award for Marketing Practice of the Year for our efforts with our Back to School campaign, Eyes on Learning. We were told that it showed exactly how a marketing campaign should be implemented from start to finish, using all aspects of online and offline marketing. During the run of this campaign we managed to spread very valuable information to parents and carers about the importance of eyecare for youths. In previous years we have won in other categories at the Rodenstock Awards, including Rodenstock Centre of Excellence, Soltaire Lenses, MyView Lenses, Colormatic Lenses and Website of the Year.
We were overjoyed to win this award after all the hard work we put into the campaign. We had great fun planning and implementing it, with very rewarding results and feedback received. We would like to thank Rodenstock for such a fantastic day and evening, and of course for presenting us with this award. We would also like to say a huge thank you to our Visual Merchandiser, Claudia Thomas for her impressive window displays this year, including the amazing Back to School display.
